Whippet Rescue And Placement - WRAP

WRAP is a 501(c)(3) charity devoted to the rescue of pure-bred Whippets. The organization operates exclusively in the United States of America.

WRAP rescue includes pickup from owners or animal welfare facilities, assessment of the Whippet’s suitability as a pet, providing health care and training as needed and appropriate, qualification of prospective homes, placement, follow-up, and, if a placement fails, recovery into WRAP.

Adoption

For an application to adopt a rescued whippet, please visit WRAP Adoption Application. Completed applications will be sent to WRAP and kept on file. When a dog comes into rescue the applications will be evaluated to determine the most suitable home for that dog, a home visit will be made and the family interviewed prior to placement.
